One of the best places to happen upon in the Park . I won’t share any secrets or “pro tips” for making the most out of the space here, figure them out for yourself….there are many to enjoy.
My favorite place in the park , especially when I lived on the UES and would ride my scooter here on beautiful full moon nights. I ended up getting married here during covid on 11/7/20 -it was perfect.
Hernshead was restored in 1988 by Central Park Conservancy. You could also appreciate planted and beautiful seasonal flowers .
Did you know that Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux won a design competition to improve and expand the park with a plan they entitled the Greensward Plan? Greetings, Walk in the Park
