The statues look especially ghostlike at night. Almost like those who made the ultimate sacrifice are right there beside you.

One of the most powerful, haunting, awesome memorial I have ever seen
This memorial is best seen at night, where the faint light reflects off the granite slabs and soldier 's faces.
Come at night, walk to the wall first, then focus on the statues .
Great serene place. Very moving. At times creepy. Don't miss this!
All the statues are quite frightening at night. Wouldn't recommend bringing your children here when sunset falls.
In 1953 when the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed, the fighting stopped, but not the war. Technically, the Korean War is not over, and the fighting can start at anytime.
Incredibly touching memorial and very thought provoking.
164 feet long and 100 tons of polished granite with more than 2500 photographic images of troops that supported the soldiers fighting the war sandblasted onto the wall.
My favorite of all the war memorials. Captures the essence of what the men who served experienced.
Beautiful trees to sit in the shade of as you stare at the pool.
Best time to view this monument is at dusk. Very powerful. ????????
